JIC Hyacinth Library opens in Shangyi No.2 Middle School

The donation ceremony of JIC – Shangyi No.2 Middle School “JIC Hyacinth Library” was held on June 4, 2015 in Shangyi, Hebei, marking the launch of the second JIC Hyacinth Library. During this event, JIC president Zhang Mulun and ShangyiCounty chief XuJinhai unveiled the plaque for the library.

JIC vice president Liu Zhihong reaffirmed JIC’s commitment to giving back to the community and endorsing cultural communication and development as a responsible corporate citizen, eager to contribute to the country’s culture alsoand education by making it easier for teachers and students to pursue their studies. Under the JIC Hyacinth Library program, JIC will work with schools to provide a fertile ground for young students with big dreams.

XuJinhai spoke for the county government thanking JIC for their donation, believing that JIC’s corporate philanthropy would help improveing the learning conditions of local students, giveing teachers and students a lot of encouragement and bolster education in Shangyi.

Being part of Zhangjiakou, Shangyi is a nationally designatedas poor county in the northwest of Hebei. Shangyi No.2 Middle School is considered the county’s largest full-time junior high school.

JIC – Shangyi No.2 Middle School “JIC Hyacinth Library” is the second public library established by JIC, following the one in Kangbao No.1 Middle School. On the Youth Day 2015, JIC donated 70 computers to Shangyi No.2 Middle School for computer learning.
