Recently, China Investment Consulting and Railway Transportation Business Department, a subsidiary of China National Machinery Import & Export Corporation (CMC), signed the consultation services agreement for the PPP project. According to the agreement, China Investment Consulting will be responsible for working out the core content of PPP business cooperation plan, including the general outline of the project, PPP co-operation plan, risk-sharing principles, financial modeling, investment and financial arrangements, and investment withdrawal mechanisms.

This is the first local railway PPP project in our country, thus having greater demonstration and promotion effects in the domestic railway sector. This project is meant to be an important step by China Investment Consulting to expand its business into the investment management.
