New Energy Industry Fund, a JIC Capital subsidiary, recently signed a deal for a 50MW PV worth more than RMB 400 million. The agreement was reached on May 18, 2015. This initiative marks the first domestic PV plant acquisition for New Energy Industry Fund. Since its inception in November, 2014, the fund has focused on market exploration. It currently has 1GW worth of prospective projects on the horizon. The new acquisition deal will help speed up the rollout ofJIC Capital’s roadmap for the domestic PV market. The fund is planning to close PV deals amounting to 600MW this year.
