On September 22, 2015, JIC Vice President Liu Zhihong presented the JIC Hyacinth Teach Award to a selected number of teachers at Kangbao No.1 Middle School and Shangyi No.2 Middle School. The ceremony was held during his visit to Hebei with some of the JIC Hyacinth Volunteer Team members.
The JIC Hyacinth Teach Award is a part of the JIC Hyacinth Charity Initiative. It recognizes excellent teachers currently working in poorer areas. The award was given for the first time this year to 25 teachers from each school. It was accompanied by a RMB 3,000 prize for each teacher.

According to Liu Zhihong, the JIC Hyacinth Teach Award shows JIC’s commitment to corporate social responsibility in the fields of culture and education. Award winners will be chosen on an annual basis in a bid to encourage and recognize the hard work of excellent teachers.
