The Tang Hotel Jiayu Wuxi, an exciting new hospitality brand from JIC Holdings, recently opened its doors.

Formerly known as the CCB Wuxi Sanatorium, the Tang Hotel project was launched by JIC Holdings in 2012. It is managed by HNA Hotels and Resorts – one of the world’s top 100 hotel groups. The project has transformed the Tang Hotel from a state-backed guesthouse into a boutique hotel. This development is symbolic of JIC’s market-driven approach to asset management and business operations.

The Tang Hotel is located on Majishan Island in the southwest of Wuxi, a city by Taihu Lake. It is a part of the hospitality facilities developed under the Mashan International Tourism Island project. The hotel is about 4 kilometers from the Lingshan Buddha, and it enjoys a number of scenic views as well as convenient access to multiple tourist attractions. By embracing the natural landscape and Buddhist culture, the hotel remains committed to creating a serene and soothing getaway. The goal is to create a “pristine, healthy, exclusive and comfortable” experience. The design concept used for the Tang Hotel was rooted in the time-honored cultural heritage of China. Specifically, it draws inspiration from the flourishing Tang Dynasty years, and aims to create an iconic hotel with a uniquely artistic atmosphere.

The waterside location is part of the reason why JIC Holdings has decided to market the Tang facility as a culture-themed boutique hotel. According to Zhuang Zhe, president of JIC Holdings, the hotel design takes into consideration our shared cultural heritage, especially the Buddhist lifestyle which is quite prominent within the local community.

The Tang Hotel also contains a JIC Library. The library emphasizes the hotel’s cultural quality and integrates culture elements into a commercial property. This brand-new JIC Library is located on the lobby level, and readers can enjoy mountain views through the window. It is an ideal place to read, and the JIC Library has become extremely popular.

Two months after opening, the Tang Hotel Jiayu Wuxi was given the International Hotel Platinum Award. The award was received on November 19, 2015 and it signified the facility’s rank as one of the top ten resort hotels. The International Hotel Platinum Award is one of the most valuable and prestigious awards handed-out by the hotel industry.
