JIC Bookstore has further established its roots in the book publishing industry by acquiring the rights to publish the Chinese version of the biography of the founder of Zara, the internationally renowned chain of clothing retail shops. The original book already has around nine editions in Spain, and now, through JIC Bookstore, it will be introduced to Chinese readers for the first time.

This is JIC Bookstore’s sixth deal to publish the Chinese version of foreign books. Following the Enzo Ferrari book, the publisher has successfully acquired the copyrights of several famous entrepreneur biographies, including those of IKEA, IBM, Budweiser and ZARA in the past three months. Looking ahead, JIC Bookstore Investment will be focusing the most on publication rights-centered IP branding to expand its content value chain and grow into the publishing leader in biographical publishing.
