The Dishuiquan Project I, a joint effort recently launched by JIC Trust, Noah Holdings and Caifupai, has raised RMB 9.07 million from 40 alumni (individuals and organizations) and provided RMB 9.06 million to 67 CEIBS students in the form of a student loan.

This CEIBS project is reported to be China’s first charitable fund program for the promotion of education, leveraging a flexible trust scheme and cloud-based technology to create a pool of money donated or lent by CEIBS alumni and provide eligible applicants studying at CEIBS with low-interest student loans. The funds will be earmarked and transferred directly from JIC Trust to CEIBS’s MBA Admissions. The rest of the money and the loan repayments will be rolled forward, together with new funds received, on an ongoing basis.
