On December 5, which is also the 31st anniversary of International Volunteer Day, JIC Leasing’s “Green Windmill” program was launched in Qinghai. The Second Green Windmill Speech Contest was held in the Xinbaozi Primary School of Haidong, under the theme “I want to be a future environmental defender.” In addition, there was also a Green Windmill drawing class and a creative class that taught students to recycle rubbish into handmade products.

The Green Windmill Program is a charity initiative that JIC Leasing launched four years ago. In the past three years, the company donated clean energy boilers and solar-power street lamps to many schools in Hebei and Qinghai provinces, while carrying out a series of activities, including the Green Windmill classroom and speech contest, to promote the concept of energy conservation and environmental protection.

This year saw JIC Leasing donating solar street lamps worth nearly 200,000 Yuan to schools in Qinghai Province, located in Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture’s Gonghe County, and Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture’s Dulan and Wulan Counties.
