On April 11, the Seminar on "Global New Economic Trend and Global Investment of Chinese Enterprises" & China Investment Development Report (2017) Release Conference, organized by JIC Institute of Investment Research, was held in Shanghai. Ke Ke, Assistant President of JIC Group, attended the release conference and addressed at the opening ceremony. A couple of experts and scholars were invited to the release conference for keynote speeches on the new situation of the global economy, the global investment of Chinese enterprises and other issues. More than 100 attendees from the media and all walks of life exchanged ideas on the subject of the seminar.

In her address, Ke noted that global economic development has recently become more changeable and uncertain for reasons such as interest rates raised by the Federal Reserve, trade protectionism and increased geopolitical conflicts increase. In the past more than ten years, Chinese enterprises have gone global, and taken active part in the rebuilding of the global value chain and high-end global industrial division, with their status and investment capacity growing constantly. JIC has paid close attention to the new trend of global economic changes, made investment and conducted operations, pursued long-term steady returns, and completed its investment in high-end manufacturing, great consumption and other industries in countries and regions such as Europe, Australia and the U.S.. She stressed that JIC has followed three investment logics: "industrial development", "industry chain division" and "global integration" in this process.

Li Xiangyang, Director of the National Institute of International Strategy, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Shen Jianguang, General Manager and Chief Economist of Mizuho Securities Asia Limited delivered keynote speeches on the "Impact of New Global Economic Changes on China" and "Near & Medium-term Trends and Challenges of China's Economy, and Countermeasures".

China Investment Development Report (2017)was released at the conference. This year saw the sixth edition of the report, which was released in 2012 for the first time. Compared to previous years, regarding the trend of macroeconomic changes, the practical concerns of the investment market and the steady advancement of the group's globalization strategy, this year's report renovates the research ideas, perfects the research system, makes an all-round introduction to investors on macro economy, assets allocation, investment behavior, industrial strategy and overseas investment etc., and probes into China's investment issues such as assets management, investor preference, key industries and overseas investment strategy.
