On December 8, an artificial intelligence robot was officially launched in JIC Trust Co., Ltd. ("JIC Trust"). Being the first smart robot in China’s trust industry, the machine employs the world’s leading RPA (Robotic Process Automation) technology and the simulation of manual operation to replace employees for all sorts of daily routines that are highly repetitive, standardized, rule-based and in large quantities, thereby fully liberating personnel productivity while dramatically improving work efficiency and quality.
Recent years have witnessed rapid and profound development of artificial intelligence, and there is a groundswell of opinion that envisions "the replacement of humans by AI". JIC Trust closely follows the rapid development of information technology and artificial intelligence, continuously increases investment in IT application, and actively expands the intelligence deployment of the company. Three years ago, the company began to apply big data to intelligence analysis and application in the trust industry and set up the first information management and analysis data center in the industry that fully accommodates the front, middle and back ends to break down the data barrier and achieve the data bus connection in the enterprise. Through intelligent data analyses and surveillance, the company also identified the optimizable spots and potentially intelligent processes in business operation and management, which laid a solid foundation for AI applications.
On November 28, JIC Trust signed a cooperation agreement on intelligent robot with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu for trials in financial management to tap into the potential of FinTech (financial technology) in driving business development and management improvement, and spearhead AI deployment in the industry. As the first enterprise that dabbled in AI in the trust industry, JIC Trust aims to boost business management efficiency with the aid of the technology, actively explore the application and promotion of intelligent robots in functional management and even business operation, and endeavor to create an intelligent enterprise in which “humans guide machines, with the latter assisting the former”.
