On November 2nd, China Jianyin Investment (JIC) held an investment forum in Beijing with the theme of “Strategy and Development - The New Era of Pension Finance and Industry”. Participants from government departments, industry associations and companies offered multiple insights into the challenges of providing person for an aging population and investment opportunities of the pension industry, as well as discussed what was needed to provide high-quality pension financial services. 

At the meeting, Zhong Rongsa, Vice President of Asset Management Association of China, Yang Yanwei, Professor of Tsinghua University School of Public Policy and Management, and Zhou Xiangyong, General Manager of Guotai Asset Management delivered keynote addresses on “Initiating a New Era of Public Fund Development”,  “Pension Finance in a Silver Economy” and “Maximising Public Fund Investments in Pensions” respectively. 

The forum included round-table discussions on “Innovation and Supervision of Pension Financial Services” and “Development Trends and Investment Dilemmas of a Healthy Pension Industry”. Representatives from China Life, Taikang Pension, Guotai Asset Management, Sunshine Insurance Group, Caixin Insight, Jiantou Huawen Investment, Jiantou Jiayu Real Estate and other institutions conducted in-depth discussions and elaborated on the new era of pension finance and industry practices from the perspective of their respective businesses.
